I first discovered photography at the age of six, when I was given my very first camera. Not long after, I was proud to win the Langbaugh Young Photographer Award. Some of my fondest memories are of evenings spent with my father in our loft—our makeshift darkroom—developing prints by hand. We would hang them to dry over the bath, and I could hardly contain my excitement to see the images come to life.
Since those early days, photography has grown from a childhood fascination into both my passion and my career. Over the years, I’ve shared that passion by running workshops, helping countless local photographers develop their own skills and love for capturing the world around them. You can also find me behind the lens at Discovery Photography, where I specialise in weddings and portrait photography.
My work has been featured in national newspapers including The Times, The Telegraph, and the Daily Mail. I’ve photographed weddings in a wide variety of venues and settings, and while I feel I’ve covered just about everything, I’m always ready for the next challenge. Beyond weddings, I’ve been the official photographer for the Klondike Cycle Race for three consecutive years, and have provided commercial photography for many local businesses and organisations—among them SAKS, Cineworld, and the North York Moors National Park Authority.
Photography has always been more than just a job for me—it’s a lifelong journey of storytelling, creativity, and discovery.
